My Story
Hi and welcome to Wildflower Wigs of Rockwall. If you've come this far, I hope you'll stay a bit longer.
My "hair journey" (yes, it's been a journey) started when I was about 40 years old. Granted, my hair wasn't all that fabulous before 40 but that's when I really started to notice dramatic thinning and my start with androgenetic alopecia.
I tried everything I could find to help my sad, cotton candy-like hair. From shampoo's, vitamin therapy, hormone therapy, scalp and follicle stimulators, various oils and hair masks, prescriptions. If it's out there, I've probably tried it. I wonder just how much I must've spent on all of that stuff? I was feeling quite depressed and ugly but not sure what to do next! It wasn't until I saw a picture of myself from behind that I decided to stop burying my head in the sand and seek alternative hair options. Okay, where to begin? Absolutely no clue.
Online? Wig store or wig salon? Designer wigs or not? What do all of these terms mean? What color to choose? HELP!!!
I decided to go to my local wig salon and seek professional help. Now, I don't have to tell you that it takes an enormous amount of courage to drive to a wig salon and even more courage to go inside ("once you start" mentality and all that). I'll just say that my experience wasn't great and left in tears. Not kidding.
So, after many years of research and education, I decided to open up my own alternative hair salon. I want to encourage, inspire and support you as you navigate your hair challenges with no pressure. You will receive compassion and understanding in a private setting. I know it can be scary but it can also be fun! So come in and let's discuss options tailored just for you!

Monday-Friday 10-4. Private Appointment preferred. Saturday by request. If you need to come earlier or later, no problem...just call to arrange.
